A CCC Legend Moves to the National Stage
Since joining Colombo Cricket Club in 2016, you have been much more than just a player. You became the heart of this club. You led us with passion and pride, both as Captain and as Head Coach, and gave us so many proud moments.
You guided CCC to three consecutive Major Club 3-Day Championships as Captain, a record in Sri Lankan First-Class cricket, and then again to three more titles as Head Coach. These are achievements that will always be remembered at our club.
But more than the trophies, what we’ll remember most is your leadership, kindness, and professionalism. You treated everyone with respect and helped so many players grow — both on and off the field. We will miss your presence in the dressing room, your calm advice, and the positive energy you brought to the team every day. You truly showed what it means to represent CCC with pride.
As you begin your next chapter as Head Coach of the Sri Lanka Cricket Emerging Team, we are all so proud of you. It’s a big step forward, and we know you will continue to guide and inspire the next generation of Sri Lankan cricketers.
